The Vision 7041 Double Beam UV/Vis Spectrophotometer is the most powerful model in Buck Scientific's Vision series and was developed for high precision, ease of use, and reliable measurement results.
By combining high photometric accuracy, double-beam optics, and variable spectral bandwidth, the Vision 7041 is suitable for demanding research applications as well as for daily use in quality control and routine laboratories. The large wavelength range allows for measurements in the UV and visible spectral ranges with high stability and reproducibility.
The dual-beam optics with two detectors ensure excellent reproducibility and low noise. The broad wavelength range of 190–1100 nm covers both UV and visible measurement ranges. The variable slit width of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, or 4.0 nm allows the instrument to be flexibly adapted to different requirements regarding resolution and signal intensity.
Operation & Appearance
Operation is via a large 10" color touchscreen with icon-based user guidance. This allows standard measurements, spectral scans, and kinetic experiments to be performed quickly and intuitively.
A sealed, SiO₂-coated optics block protects the optical components from dust and vapors and reduces stray light. The stable 16-mm baseplate improves the thermal and mechanical stability of the system. Long-lasting tungsten and deuterium lamps are easily interchangeable.
Automatic self-calibration, diagnostic functions, and warning messages increase operational safety in daily laboratory use. For regulated environments, GLP/GMP functions are available to support documentation and data integrity.
