High-pressure homogenizers from PSI – precision, reproducibility and modular performance
The High pressure homogenizers PSI's shear chambers combine over two decades of practical experience with state-of-the-art technology for use in laboratories and industry. The precisely controlled hydraulic cylinders maintain a constant displacement, which in turn results in consistent pressure in the shear chamber. Combined with a laser-cut shear chamber, this enables exceptionally high reproducibility – a crucial quality feature for processes where consistent results are essential.
In addition, the integrated water cooling ensures rapid temperature stabilization during the homogenization process. This keeps the physical properties of the sample constant, significantly increasing the quality of the results and process reliability.
Mobility, hygiene and flexibility in everyday laboratory work
All PSI high pressure homogenizers are equipped with casters and can be easily removed from the laboratory area when not in use. Their smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces meet the highest laboratory standards and can be easily disinfected. These properties make them particularly suitable for hygienically sensitive applications in the food, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.
Three model series for individual requirements
PSI offers three model series that can be adapted to different production environments:
The Compact Line includes the PSI 20, PSI 30 and PSI 40 models. They are ideal for laboratory use and pilot production and offer flow rates from 20 to 80 liters per hour at pressures up to 2,068 bar.
The Power Line is aimed at users with medium to high sample volumes. The PSI 100 and PSI 200 models deliver flow rates between 130 and 241 liters per hour and are suitable for continuous operation in production environments.
For high throughputs, the Infinity Line Developed with a capacity of up to 550 liters per hour, these high-pressure homogenizers offer maximum performance. Their modular design allows multiple modules to be combined in parallel, serial, or hybrid configurations – perfect for scalable and adaptable processes in large-scale production.
