Versatile UV nanosecond laser for industrial precision applications
The Yucca UV nanosecond laser from Bloom Lasers is specially designed for high-precision micromachining processes in industrial 24/7 production environments. With short nanosecond pulses, it combines high performance with a high pulse repetition rate, making it ideal for applications that require both quality and throughput. The patented fiber technology enables outstanding beam quality and stability, even at high speeds and with demanding process requirements.
Technical features
The Yucca UV nanosecond laser offers an output of up to 100 W at 343 nm and 120 W at 515 nm. The pulse durations can be flexibly selected between 2 ns and 10 ns or in burst mode, with a maximum pulse energy of up to 600 µJ. The excellent beam quality (M² < 1.2) is maintained over the entire frequency range up to 4 MHz. The combination of high peak power (up to 75 kW at 515 nm) and short pulse duration minimizes the heat-affected zone and enables precise material processing. This means that dhe robust construction is designed for continuous operation and meets industrial standards such as HALT design and HASS certification.
Application areas of the Yucca UV nanosecond laser
The UV nanosecond laser Yucca is ideal for a wide range of industrial applications in precision micromachining. Typical applications include drilling, cutting and depaneling of printed circuit boards (PCBs). In addition, the structuring of ITO layers, the scribing and debonding of wafers and the processing of sensitive materials such as glass, ceramics and CFRP. The Yucca laser is also used in battery production and material structuring, as its short pulse duration and high pulse energy ensure minimal thermal impact. The combination of precision, process reliability and high repetition rate is a decisive advantage, particularly in series production.
