MPB Communications develops high-performance Fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers for demanding applications in research, life sciences and industry. The portfolio includes CW fiber lasers, pulsed fiber lasers, ultrashort pulse fiber lasers as well as single-frequency lasers and fiber amplifiers from the visible spectral range into the near-infrared.
A special feature of the MPB laser systems is their All-fiber architecture. It enables robust and stable laser sources with high beam quality, excellent wavelength and power stability, and low maintenance requirements. Depending on the application, compact OEM modules for system integration or complete rack systems for laboratory and research use are available.
MPB Communications looks back on decades of experience in fiber optics and photonics. Founded in 1976 as a spin-off from RCA Canada's research laboratories, the company has consistently evolved its competencies from optical communications and Raman technology toward high-performance fiber lasers and optical amplifiers.

MPB Communications fiber lasers are used, among other things, in Microscopy, spectroscopy, quantum optics, atomic physics, metrology, biotechnology, material processing, and nonlinear optics deployed. Due to the large selection of wavelengths, powers, pulse durations, and line widths, the systems can be specifically adapted to various scientific and industrial applications.
