The implementation is always individual and based on your needs. As a rule, projects start with a concept development phase in which different solution approaches are presented and discussed, while at the same time the requirements become more specific.
In this phase, we advise you on the selection and suitability of concepts by comparing expected properties, development efforts, manufacturing costs, delivery times and tolerances.
A selected concept is then detailed and optimized in terms of optical performance and fulfillment of requirements. Commercial calculation software is used (e.g. Zemax OpticStudio), which can be expanded to include your own evaluations and analyzes depending on the task.
The result of this development phase is a complete optical design that is checked for manufacturability and tolerances. For more complex systems, an adjustment and testing strategy is also developed. The completion of the optical design is the preparation of the technical drawings for optical components and the overall system. This represents the basis for further integration or the construction of mechanical enclosures.
