The BDL-, BFP-, and MDL-Series from Bright Solutions encompasses compact fiber-coupled high-power diode laser modules for industrial, scientific, medical, and aerospace applications.
Depending on the series, the modules are based on diode arrays or multi-single-emitter architectures and offer high optical power, a long lifespan, and efficient conduction cooling in a particularly compact design.
The platform supports both CW and pulsed operating modes and can be designed for a wide variety of wavelengths, fiber configurations, and custom OEM requirements.
Technical description
The BDL, BFP, and MDL modules were developed for applications that require high reliability, compact design, and high optical performance.
The BDL Series Based on high-power diode arrays, it is designed as a conductively cooled, fiber-coupled laser module for CW and QCW operation. Depending on the configuration, the systems reach powers from a few watts up to 400 W. The modules can be equipped with standard SMA fibers, custom pigtailing, or free-space optics.
The integrated optical architecture, selected semiconductor materials, and efficient thermal management ensure high long-term stability and reliability, even under demanding operating conditions.
The BFP Series based on a multi-single-emitter architecture and was specifically developed for applications with high beam brilliance and low operating currents. The systems are particularly suitable as pump sources for solid-state and fiber lasers.
The BFP modules support different fiber types and connector systems such as SMA, FC, or ST, and can be equipped with integrated controllers, aiming beams, temperature management, and other OEM options.
The MDL Series The platform is expanded with multi-wavelength modules featuring up to four different wavelengths within a compact system. These configurations are particularly suitable for medical applications as well as multispectral industrial systems.
Variants with collimated free-beam or line-shaped beam profile are optionally available.
