The Spatial Light Modulator HS (SLM) from Meadowlark Optics sets new standards in liquid crystal technology. With a resolution of 1024 x 1024 pixels and a pixel size of 17 x 17 µm The SLM delivers precise phase modulation at the highest speed. The combination of analog data addressing and an innovative PCIe controller enables frame rates of up to 1436 Hz and ultra-fast response times of 0.6 ms to 8 ms, depending on the wavelength.

Ultrafast and stable phase modulation

Thanks to his Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) technology enables the High-Speed SLM pure phase control and offers exceptional phase stability. In addition, the innovative control reduces phase instability to values of only 0.05 % to 2 %, even at the highest speeds. This makes the high-speed SLM ideal for applications such as holographic projections, adaptive optics and laser beam control.

Wide wavelength range and high efficiency in high-speed SLM

The Spatial Light Modulator High Speed works reliably over a wide wavelength range of 488 to 1650 nm. It can also be flexibly adapted to specific applications. Its Dielectric mirror coating provides a reflectivity of up to 98 %, which ensures maximum efficiency. In addition, the SLM reduces diffusion in the zero-order effect to a minimum. Therefore, it offers optimal performance, even with high-power lasers.

User-friendly software and versatile functions 

The High-Speed SLM is done with an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) which offers extensive control options. It is also equipped with LabVIEW, Matlab, python and C++ which enables seamless integration into existing systems. In addition, the liquid crystal SLM Features like Wavefront Calibration, custom frame rates, and global and regional calibrations. The PCIe controller also offers 752 frames of internal memory, which significantly optimizes data transfer.
