The Nicomp N3000 from PSS is based on the established technique of dynamic light scattering (DLS) and is ideal for determining the size of proteins, colloids, nanoparticles, printer inks and a number of other dispersions in the field of nanotechnology and medicine.

The flexible structure also makes it possible to adapt the system to the different requirements and needs of the respective applications.

With just a few movements, the N3000 can be used to measure the zeta potential to be made ready.

The heart of the N3000 is the proprietary Nicomp algorithm, which is able to precisely measure multimodal particle size distributions and, for example, to distinguish individual particles from clumps.

The Nicomp ZLS Z3000 from PSS combines the DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering) technology of the N3000 with frequency and phase analysis methods for Zeta Potential determination.

The electrical field required for this can be set from 1 to 250 volts/cm and thus enables the zeta potential measurement of both proteins and metal oxide particles in one device.

The Z3000 uses various techniques to compensate for very high ionic strength.
