The Aero from Bright Solutions is a high-energy, Q-switched DPSS laser platform for industrial, scientific, and aerospace applications.
The Aero series is specifically designed for applications requiring high pulse energies, robust construction, and compact integration capability. The systems operate in the nanosecond range and achieve pulse energies up to 100 mJ at 1064 nm and up to 40 mJ at 532 nm, respectively.
Thanks to the thermo-mechanically stable resonator design and the robust OEM platform, the lasers are particularly suitable for demanding environmental conditions, mobile platforms, and aerospace systems.
Technical description
The Aero Series forms the high-energy platform within the Bright Solutions portfolio for Q-switched DPSS lasers.
The systems operate in the nanosecond range with pulse durations between 10 ns and 30 ns and achieve repetition rates of up to 100 Hz. Depending on the wavelength and configuration, pulse energies of up to 100 mJ at 1064 nm and up to 40 mJ at 532 nm are achieved.
The lasers are based on a robust, thermally and mechanically stabilized platform with high vibration resistance. Specially configured systems have already undergone extensive vibration and qualification testing for use in aerospace applications.
Due to the high pulse energy and excellent beam quality, the systems are ideally suited for demanding remote sensing, analysis, and material processing applications.
The Aero platform supports different multi-wavelength configurations as well as custom beam-shaping solutions, such as flat-top profiles in square or round designs.
In addition to standard air-cooled versions, line-cooled and liquid-cooled variants are optionally available for higher performance or demanding environmental conditions.
The systems are optimized for compact OEM integration, offering a low SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) profile, making them particularly suitable for mobile, airborne, or vibration-critical applications.
