By coupling laser light from diodes into a “Whispering Gallery Mode” (WGM) microresonator, which can originally come from microwave technology OEWaves offer extremely narrow-band lasers at different wavelengths.

Depending on the model, line widths of up to 80 Hz or 1 Hz are achieved with the lowest phase noise. Standard laser models work in the 1530-1565 nm and 1900-2100 nm ranges, as well as in the visible. The lasers are very compact and fiber-coupled.
