Kimmon Koha is one of the world's leading specialists in helium-cadmium (HeCd) lasers. The company has been manufacturing HeCd lasers since 1971 and, according to its own figures, has shipped more than 46,000 systems worldwide. Its many years of experience and consistent in-house manufacturing and quality control make Kimmon Koha an established manufacturer for demanding scientific and industrial laser applications.
The HeCd lasers are with 325 nm in the UV range, 442 nm in the visible spectral range as well as Dual-wavelength systems with 325 nm and 442 nm available. Depending on the application, different output powers as well as single-mode and multi-mode configurations are available.
Kimmon Koha HeCd lasers are used, among other things, in photoluminescence, Raman spectroscopy, holography, interferometry, and optical exposure processes. The characteristic emission wavelengths and available TEM₀₀ configurations make the systems particularly attractive for applications that require a stable CW laser source with high beam quality.
