The NPS from Bright Solutions is an ultra-compact, narrow-band picosecond laser platform for spectroscopic and scientific applications with the highest demands on spectral purity and pulse stability.
The NPS series combines the robustness and compactness of modern fiber laser technology with the spectral purity of classic DPSS systems. This makes the platform particularly suitable for Raman spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, OPO pumping, and multimodal imaging. The lasers operate with pulse durations in the range of a few picoseconds while offering a very low spectral bandwidth of less than 0.3 nm.
The NPS platform combines ultra-short picosecond pulses with narrow-band spectral emission in a compact and robust OEM architecture. In contrast to many broadband ultrafast pulse systems, the NPS series was specifically developed for applications where spectral purity and high stability are crucial, in addition to short pulse duration.
The systems typically operate with pulse durations of approximately 7 ps at repetition rates of up to 40 MHz. Depending on the configuration, output powers of up to 10 W at 1064 nm, up to 5 W at 532 nm, and up to 1 W at 355 nm can be achieved.
By combining fiber-based architecture and DPSS design, the platform offers both high environmental stability and excellent spectral properties. The proprietary amplifier stages allow for different power variants within the same platform. Additionally, custom high-power variants are available for special OEM or research applications.
The compact design facilitates integration into scientific measuring systems, spectroscopy platforms, and industrial OEM equipment.
