Starrett's HDV systems combine the best features of a horizontal optical comparator and a vision system. They are equipped with a stage load capacity of 50 kg and a stage travel of 300 mm x 150 mm or 400 mm x 150 mm, depending on the model. In addition, the HDV500 a larger projection system is offered.
A tried-and-tested working platform with a patented lens exchange system is used, which can accommodate up to seven telecentric lenses for resolutions in the µm range. The image is also virtually distortion-free during field of view measurements.
The combination of 5 megapixel video camera and MetLogix M3 software enables DXF CAD file import and comparison with the video image of the test specimen. Both the HDV300 and HDV400 are a prime example of Starrett technology and ensure the highest quality industrial measurement equipment.
