The Twyman-Green interferometer PhaseCam from 4D Technology is a precise optical measuring instrument that is widely used in both science and industry. It measures wavefronts and analyzes optical components, making even the smallest deviations in the optics visible, thus ensuring high quality at all times. This makes this laser interferometer an indispensable tool for the optics industry, especially in the mid-infrared (MWIR) range.

The PhaseCam offers a high-resolution sensor and simple control. Combined with strong performance and comprehensive analysis software, it is ideal for a wide range of applications. Thanks to the patented "Dynamic Interferometry®" technology, the high-speed phase sensor enables wavefront measurements in less than 30 microseconds. Therefore, the PhaseCam can be used in almost all conditions without the need for vibration isolation.

The easy-to-use software "4Sight Focus" offers a complete package for measuring telescope optics, large mirrors and optical systems. Particularly noteworthy is the availability of an interferometer with MWIR wavelength, which was specially developed for the mid-infrared range. This means you benefit from maximum flexibility and precision, especially for demanding measurement tasks.

Application areas and wavelength options of the interferometer

The laser interferometer is versatile. It is ideal for measuring large focal optics and optical systems, such as concave telescope mirrors and lens systems. It can also test afocal components with a small aperture, such as flat mirrors and collimators. In addition, adjusting elements such as scanning mirrors can be measured. Special, adapted systems are available for measurements in clean room conditions.

As standard, the interferometer offers wavelengths of 532 nm and 632.8 nm for the visible range and 1064 nm and 1550 nm for the short-wave infrared range. For special applications, the interferometer also offers MWIR wavelengths and even options up to 10.6 µm in the long-wave infrared range. This means you get exactly the solution that meets your requirements.
