LaserTune—QCL

  • IR excitation
  • Molecular spectroscopy
  • Combination with fiber-coupled ATR measuring cell

The tunable LaserTune Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL) made by Block Engineering are now available in several versions with tuning ranges 250, 500, 750 and 1000 cm-1 to be choosen in the overall wavelength range 5.3 - 13 µm. In this wavelength region a variety of molecular vibrations can be selctively excited. Even with an average power of up to 20 mW and a high spectral power density these lasers are still eyesafe.

LaserTune is controlled by a PC via USB port. It comes with its own software and can also be operated remotely with a lab automation software like LabView.
