Die automatischen AVR-CNC-Vision-Messsysteme von Starrett eignen sich ideal für wiederkehrende Messaufgaben sowie für den automatischen Vergleich mit CAD-Daten. Die Systeme sind wahlweise mit austauschbaren telezentrischen Objektiven oder mit speziellen Zoomobjektiven erhältlich und ermöglichen Messungen im Mikrometerbereich sowie präzise Sichtfeld- (FOV-)Messungen.

With a maximum field of view of 24 mm, the AVR systems can measure component lengths of either 200 mm, 300 mm or 400 mm (AVR 200, 300 and 400). A special 0.14X lens with a large 60 mm field of view is also available.

It is operated via the MetLogix™-M3 software, which displays a live video image of the component together with geometry tools and digital measurement values. The image can be scaled via zoom and measurements can be carried out simply by touching the relevant contour on the touchscreen.

The functions of the M3 software also include 3-axis measurements and 2D geometric elements such as points, lines, angles, rectangles, grooves and free-form contours. The systems can also be equipped with touch probes.
