The system can be used for a variety of projects. From basic research in quantum physics to the development of sensors and new technologies based on cold atoms.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Double-MOT<\/strong> uses two chambers, insulated by a silicon pinhole disk. The lower chamber is used to achieve a high atomic number and the upper chamber to maintain an ultra-high vacuum. A rail system enables the easy integration of <strong>Inflections <\/strong>magnetic accessories.
