LaserPoint offers a broad portfolio of thermal sensors for the precise measurement of Laser power and laser energy<\/strong> in research, development, and industrial applications. The detector heads are suitable for various laser systems and cover a broad spectral range from UV to far infrared<\/strong> from.<\/p>\n

Selection of the appropriate laser power sensor<\/h2>\n

For a reliable measurement, the sensor must be matched to the respective laser source and measurement task. Crucial factors in particular are Wavelength, maximum laser power or pulse energy, beam diameter, power or energy density, pulse duration and repetition rate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At higher power levels, cooling and thermal load capacity also play an important role. LaserPoint offers sensors with passive cooling for this purpose, as well as\u2014depending on the model\u2014convection, fan, or water cooling.<\/p>\n

Traceable calibration and reproducible measurement results<\/h2>\n

The laser power and energy sensors are supplied with a calibration certificate. The calibration is traceable to recognized standards of NIST or PTB<\/strong> traceable and enables reliable and reproducible measurements even in demanding applications.<\/p>\n

For integration into laboratory setups, production equipment, and automated test systems, various interfaces are available depending on the version, including DB15 connectors, as well as USB and RS-232 interfaces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
