The systems achieve extremely narrow line widths down to the <strong data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1013\">sub-Hz range<\/strong> and combine these with very low frequency and phase noise.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1447\">With available wavelengths from <strong data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1136\">370 to 4500 nm<\/strong> the HI-Q\u00ae platform covers an exceptionally wide spectral range from UV, through the visible spectrum and the near-infrared, all the way to the MIR range. As a result, highly stable laser sources are available for a wide variety of applications in research, quantum technology, sensor technology, and metrology.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"vgyw5u\" data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1487\">Whispering Gallery Mode technology<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1718\">The exceptional spectral properties of the HI-Q\u00ae lasers are based on the developed by OEwaves <strong data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1632\">self-injection locking technology<\/strong> in conjunction with a high-Q <strong data-start=\"1669\" data-end=\"1717\">Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) microresonator<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1720\" data-end=\"2105\">The light from a semiconductor laser source is coupled into an extremely high-Q WGM resonator. Through optical feedback, the laser emission is stabilized to a resonance of the microresonator.
