Precise wavefront and surface measurement with AccuFiz\u00ae<\/h1>\n

The AccuFiz\u00ae Fizeau Interferometer from 4D Technology<\/strong> are high-precision measurement systems for interferometric testing of optical surfaces, wavefronts, and complete optical systems. The product family covers an exceptionally wide spectral range from visible light to the long-wave infrared range, making it adaptable to a wide variety of tasks in optics manufacturing, research, and quality assurance.<\/p>\n

Depending on the configuration, systems with different laser sources, apertures, cameras, and measurement modes are available. This enables both classic Fizeau measurements with temporal phase shifting and dynamic measurements under demanding environmental conditions.<\/p>\n

Measurement of flat surfaces, spheres, and optical systems<\/h3>\n

The Fizeau principle enables high-precision, non-contact measurements of optical components. Together with suitable reference optics, flat surfaces, spherical surfaces, prisms, as well as transmitting optical components and complete systems, among other things, can be characterized.<\/p>\n

A special strength of the AccuFiz family is the large selection of available measurement wavelengths. Depending on the measurement task, systems are available at 532 nm, 633 nm, 1053 nm, 1550 nm as well as in the MWIR and LWIR range<\/strong> available. This also makes it possible to test optical components at or near their intended operating wavelength.<\/p>\n

For special IR applications, configurations up to, for example, are available 10.6 \u00b5m<\/strong> available. The AccuFiz LWIR is designed as a complete Fizeau interferometer system for measurements at this wavelength.<\/p>\n

Dynamic Interferometry and Short Coherence<\/h3>\n

For measurement environments with vibrations as well as for special optical components, 4D Technology offers special AccuFiz configurations. Dynamic systems capture the information required for phase determination extremely quickly, thereby reducing the influence of motion and vibration on the measurement result.<\/p>\n

The AccuFiz D<\/strong> combines, for example, dynamic interferometry with a short-coherence light source. This allows closely spaced parallel glass surfaces to be examined separately. According to 4D Technology, a complete wavefront measurement can be performed in just 150 \u00b5s<\/strong> take place.<\/p>\n

These include, among others 2D and 3D representations as well as Zernike, Seidel, geometric, and further analyses<\/strong>. This allows for both rapid quality checks and detailed investigations of optical components.<\/p>\n
