Since the measurement is optical, no chemical reagents or consumables are required. Changing gas compositions can also be analyzed with the same measuring system.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3198\" data-end=\"3487\">Raman spectroscopy is of particular interest for molecules that are difficult or impossible to directly access using classical IR absorption methods. It thus complements established gas measurement techniques, particularly in research, development, and demanding process applications.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3198\" data-end=\"3487\">High sensitivity with optional FloGasCell<\/h2>\n<p>For particularly sensitive measurements, the FloGasCell is available as an optional flow-through gas cell. According to the manufacturer, it improves sensitivity by a factor of approximately three. For suitable gases, Enwave specifies concentrations down to approximately 0.02 % at atmospheric pressure. The actual detectable limit depends on the specific gas, the gas composition, and the measurement conditions.<\/p>\n<h2>Laboratory analysis and online process monitoring<\/h2>\n<p>The GasRaman NOCH-1 can be used for both laboratory investigations and continuous online process monitoring. Typical applications include natural gas and biogas analysis, petrochemistry, the chemical industry, nuclear engineering, and biotechnological process analytics.
