They score points with their minimal size and high EMC immunity, making them the first choice for medical technology, life sciences and industrial applications. Thanks to the galvanic isolation of the measuring point and evaluation electronics, these fiber optic pressure sensors guarantee interference-free data transmission and maximum measuring accuracy.<\/p>\n<h2>Design and functional principle<\/h2>\n<p>In addition, each optical pressure sensor is based on an interferometric measurement method in which the light is guided to the sensor element via an optical fiber. As the sensor element deforms under pressure, the optical path length changes, enabling highly precise pressure measurement in real time.
