The systems are equipped with <strong data-start=\"1936\" data-end=\"1960\">325 nm in the UV range<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2009\">442 nm in the visible blue spectral range<\/strong> as well as <strong data-start=\"2020\" data-end=\"2069\">Dual-wavelength laser with both wavelengths<\/strong> available.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2121\" data-end=\"2482\">Kimmon Koha has been working on the development of gas lasers since 1966 and began <strong data-start=\"2213\" data-end=\"2255\">1971: began manufacturing HeCd lasers<\/strong>. According to the manufacturer, as of 2019, more than <strong data-start=\"2314\" data-end=\"2342\">46,000 HeCd laser systems<\/strong> sold. As a result, Kimmon has decades of experience with this specific laser technology.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2484\" data-end=\"2896\">The current product family includes numerous performance levels and beam configurations. Depending on the application, available are <strong data-start=\"2599\" data-end=\"2650\">TEM\u2080\u2080 single-mode or TEMmn multi-mode systems<\/strong> are available. At 325 nm, the specified output powers range up to 100 mW; at 442 nm, up to 180 mW. In addition, Kimmon offers dual-wavelength systems that emit both wavelengths simultaneously.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"19rtd81\" data-start=\"2898\" data-end=\"2922\">325 nm UV HeCd laser<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2924\" data-end=\"3080\">The UV models emit at <strong data-start=\"2954\" data-end=\"2964\">325nm<\/strong> and are particularly well-suited as a source of excitation for spectroscopic and materials science studies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3082\" data-end=\"3415\">An important area of application is the <strong data-start=\"3118\" data-end=\"3143\">Photoluminescence (PL)<\/strong>. Short-wavelength UV radiation can be used, for example, to study semiconductor materials. Kimmon specifically cites the study of lattice defects in GaN semiconductor crystals as an application for 325-nm lasers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3417\" data-end=\"3548\">Other potential applications include Raman spectroscopy, holography, and coherent exposure techniques.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1m3eo8p\" data-start=\"3550\" data-end=\"3571\">442 nm HeCd laser<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3573\" data-end=\"3738\">The ones at <strong data-start=\"3581\" data-end=\"3591\">442 nm<\/strong> Emissions-reducing models offer higher output power of up to <strong data-start=\"3658\" data-end=\"3668\">180 mW<\/strong> and are suitable for applications in the visible blue spectral range.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3740\" data-end=\"3981\">Kimmon lists 442-nm HeCd lasers, for example, for <strong data-start=\"3790\" data-end=\"3808\">Direct Imaging<\/strong>. In the process, photosensitive materials can be exposed directly using the laser without prior production of a conventional photomask.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3983\" data-end=\"4166\">Thanks to their combination of short wavelength, continuous emission, and high coherence, HeCd lasers are also ideal for interference and holographic applications.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1ogncfh\" data-start=\"4168\" data-end=\"4198\">Dual-wavelength HeCd laser<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4200\" data-end=\"4326\">For applications that require two excitation wavelengths, Kimmon offers <strong data-start=\"4273\" data-end=\"4322\">Dual-wavelength systems with 325 nm and 442 nm<\/strong> an.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4328\" data-end=\"4612\">The current series includes both TEM\u2080\u2080 single-mode and multimode variants.
