The Iris<\/strong> from Bright Solutions<\/a> is a compact actively Q-switched DPSS laser for visible wavelengths in the red and blue spectral range.<\/p>\n

The Iris series was specifically developed for applications that require high peak power, excellent beam quality, and short pulses at visible wavelengths. Unlike many market-standard CW lasers in the blue and red spectral ranges, Iris offers pulsed operation with high peak power and repetition rates up to 200 kHz.<\/p>\n

The systems are available in wavelengths of 447 nm and 671 nm and are particularly suitable for LiDAR, medical applications, spectroscopy, as well as special material processing applications.<\/p>\n

The Iris platform is based on actively Q-switched DPSS technology and generates nanosecond pulses with repetition rates up to 200 kHz. Many conventional laser sources in the red and blue spectral ranges operate in CW mode and offer only limited peak powers. The Iris series expands this application spectrum with short pulses of high peak power and excellent beam quality at the same time.<\/p>\n

The systems are available at 447 nm and 671 nm, enabling new applications in areas such as LiDAR, medical diagnostics, spectroscopy, and specialized material processing. The compact, air-cooled single-unit architecture integrates all optical and electronic components into a robust housing. This significantly simplifies OEM integration while achieving high mechanical stability.<\/p>\n

With a beam quality of M\u00b2 < 1.5, the systems are ideally suited for precise optical applications and efficient coupling into optical systems. The compatible I\/O architecture within the Bright Solutions portfolio facilitates integration into existing platforms and control systems.<\/p>\n
