Mit einem Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM), wie es von <strong>Nanonics<\/strong> entwickelt und &#xFC;ber <strong>Soliton<\/strong> vertrieben wird, lassen sich atomare Strukturen und Materialeigenschaften detailliert untersuchen. Ein SPM bietet die M&#xF6;glichkeit, AFM-Messungen (Atomic Force Microscopy) mit weiteren Messmethoden zu kombinieren. So kann beispielsweise die Leitf&#xE4;higkeit eines Graphen-Transistors als Funktion des Lichteinfalls durch die NSOM-Spitze (Near-Field Scanning Optical Microscopy) analysiert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein weiteres spannendes Forschungsfeld ist die Wechselwirkung von Materie, Licht und elektrischen Feldern. Mit einer NSOM-Spitze von Nanonics, die eine Lichtaustritts&#xF6;ffnung von nur 50 nm hat, k&#xF6;nnen Substrate gezielt beleuchtet werden. Dabei generierte elektrische Felder lassen sich mithilfe von Electrical Force Microscopy (EFM) oder dem Kelvin-Verfahren messen. Die Anzahl der Schichten hat einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die physikalischen Eigenschaften des Materials. W&#xE4;hrend herk&#xF6;mmliches Raman-Spektroskopie-Equipment gr&#xF6;&#xDF;ere Volumenbereiche ausleuchtet (ca. 1 &#xB5;m x 1 &#xB5;m x 2 &#xB5;m), erlaubt TERS eine signifikante Reduktion der lateral ausgeleuchteten Fl&#xE4;che und der Eindringtiefe.
